Why do we feel like something is “missing”?

We compare ourselves to others.
We feel like we need to try harder.
We think that if we acquire something, we’ll finally feel fulfilled.

This essay zine delves into the true nature of that feeling of “something missing,” drawing on my own experiences and reflections.

Perhaps that feeling of “something missing” isn’t something that’s been there from the start—maybe it’s something we “create” without even realizing it.

Starting from this question, I’ll take a fresh look at my own way of life.
